Happy 4th of July Weekend! My family loves MN summers. We get together at a lake near our home. Lots of grillin',swimmin' and game playing. 

We have a half Watson we call "The Hudson" in our camper. Just by adding the rail to half of the Watson or Holmes you can have a perfect mini topper for all kinds of applications. This fits perfect on the picnic table and we love playing on it outside too. It keeps all the cards and bits from falling off.

Amber Scharf who did our amazing Nature Mat has been working on the new underwater world mat. She just sent me an update of what she has in progress. 

So many Easter eggs and homage's to some amazing games that this will work so well with. Aqualin, Aquatica, Abyss, Underwater Cities, Reef/Oceans, Pacifica, Wreck Raiders. and Finspan to name a few. There is still quite a bit of detail that she will add, but I was so thrilled to see this, I just had to share with you.

Player easel update: 6-26

Greetings Game Topper Nation!

• We had a very successful Origins Trade Show!! Thank you all for stopping by that where there.
• It is a major undertaking doing a trade show at our scale and running a Kickstarter campaign. I have been pushing pretty hard.
•  I am  going camping for a family planned trip this weekend, but have had many requests to get a functionality video for the easel, so I have spent the morning producing this to get to you before the weekend. It was a huge hit at Origins. We had several people join the Kickstarter right there just to get the Easel.  It's a home spun production, but I think you see how cool these 4 in 1 easel's are.

• This video shows the functionality of our 4 in 1 easel/tray. The versatility with magnetic tray and muti-positional easel is really useful, and the craftmanship is very nice with laser engraved artwork from Brent Woodside and Josh Shafron. Don't miss the announcement  for a special Stretch Goal in the video towards end.

Other news:

• It looks like the the production Leg Kit has just arrived at the port in the states and we should hopefully have in the next week sometime, so we can show you an quick assembly video soon. I'll keep you up to date.
• We will have an art update soon coming from Amber Scharf on the Underwater World Mat. I'm super excited to be showing this off. She really does amazing work.
• Our very own Raymond From Board Game Heaven who started backing Game Toppers over 6 years ago made an amazing video of several of the mats he owns. He put a lot of time into this and it really shows how versatile and how many wonderful options everyone has.

I'll be continuing to work on items for the campaign while I'm gone camping, but it might not answer every question immediately, thankfully we have Josiah and Raymond to help.

Greetings Game Topper Nation from Origins Trade Fair,

I wanted to make a quick update before our 2 day journey home.

I wanted to thank all of you that stopped by the booth. So much fun meeting you all. The 301 mats in the Open play are was amazing! 

We have unlocked several stretch goals including the Double mat bundle!   We have also had several requests to bring back our XL sizes in a 2x mat bundle savings. These are some of our most expensive to produce, but if we hit some goals, I'm will to let loose the savings. We are close to unlocking this amazing Game Topper accessory bank with spinner. It's really cool and will only be $25.00 as an add on. Also a few more below. Check out $150,000 below!!!

I need to get back to the booth and get ready to pack up!! Thank you all again and let get this thing over $200,000. I have lots of ideas to continue to share.

Greetings Game Topper Nation from the Origins trade show in Columbus Ohio!

Thanks you all so much we have come so far in so little time, but we have a bunch more to share. Keep checking back to see what stretch goals will be unlocked.

We are at the origins Game Fair. We have a nice sized booth there and locals come to know us. We have our big Top Hat hanging. I love this thing. We have just been blitzed! So much fun seeing old friends and meeting new ones!!!

Oh my goodness!!! People are raving about the new Viking (we are showing it in a young sherlock Lestrade,) and the High Fantasy table (shown in Watson with our new prototype leg kit)

We have a 3 year sponsorship with GAMA where we provided 301 new 8ft playmats for the open play area. Gama/Origins has made a huge commitment to making a premium gaming space for people. It's is truly epic.

Greetings Game Topper Nation!

Happy Father's day to all!

Game playing has been on the back burner for a while due to crazy work load running a Kickstarter and leaving for The Origins Game Fair in Columbus, Ohio today. 😪 This update I give a bit of personal background as you can get know the "Burky" crew a bit and discuss some new Stretch Goals.

My children came over for breakfast Sat morning to celebrate Father's Day, and we carved out a couple of hours to play two fun games we enjoy. Love this simple to learn game from our friends at Capstone Games - Wandering Towers -such a fun puzzle, and a classic dice worker placements game we love in Kingsburg.

 Join us at Origins in Columbus, Ohio. We have 301 new Origins play mats we are delivering for the open play area. (We will send more pics) It's a glorious area of upgraded fun for everyone!!! I'll keep try to keep this post short and just mention that we have passed the 300% threshold. Thank you so much!!! We would love to get to 1000 % This is very possible with your help, and given we have a ton of media and advertising efforts going to get eyes on the campaign. This was a guilty pleasure and a bit indulgent, but due to my love for Baseball Highlights 2045 by Mike Fitzgerald I had to do this. I adore this game, it is my favorite 2 player game of all time. (Little known fact, I am the currently the Worlds Champion and have the commissioner Ralph trophy to prove it. lol 😂😂 That information and a quarter might get you a cup of coffee at McDonalds.  I even have promo card in the game. If you see me at a show and ask I would be happy to give you this much sought after Burky Puckett promo card. I know I'm delusional. .. but Ralphie is not. 

Well, there was some mixed in behind the scenes from me. I like to be transparent and share my life with people. I hope in a small way that it provides some levity, interest and encouragement in these crazy time we live in.  Really this hobby has enriched my life in so many ways, I also what to give back and be a good ambassador. I hope Game Toppers has helped upgrade your gaming experience.
