[TOPPERS] What Topper is right for my gaming
It really depends on ones play style and gaming group. We have smaller table that are great for small and medium footprint games. The dimensions are listed on the campaign page. We find the Watson (38” x 60” play area) is great for 95% of the games out there. I have a huge game collection and play games that are sprawling like Mare Nostrum, Scythe, Kemet, Star Trek Ascendancy, Yokohama, and have more than enough space. The card rail feature plus cup holders and component trays provide extra space as well.

[TOPPERS] Will my table work with the Topper? What is the ideal size?
The ideal size that will support every rail is 1” under the outside dimension of each Topper. For instance, our Watson (which we feel is nearly the ideal size for most games) Topper’s outside dimension is 45” x 67”, so a 44” x 66” table is perfect. However our toppers do not need to be fully supported because of our cross support system. The rail on the bottom is 2 1/4”. Our Game Toppers over hang 9” on the 30” x 72” tables at conventions and perform very admirably in heavy convention use. Each of the video reviewers show this and it really is amazing how well the perform.

[TOPPERS] Standard vs Oak?
The Standard black finish is just powder coated aluminum across the top instead of having an inlay. The aluminum raid for the Luxuriant Oak and Designer Art Series Toppers allows us to have an inset to put high quality crafted inlay into it. Luxuriant Oak is a natural Oak finish, while our Designer Art Series is an acrylic substrate with a printed vinyl wrap of our increasing thematic artwork!

[LEG KITS] Can I add a leg kit to my Topper?
Very likely! The only exception is if you have a topper from our very first Kickstarter (Gen 1), the leg kits will not work. We adjusted our aluminum extrusion during our second Kickstarter to allow the attachment of leg brackets to the underside of the toppers.

[LEG KITS] How high are the Leg Kits?
The standard leg kit is 24”-40” (in 4” increments) from the floor to the bottom of the rail and 30 1/8” from the floor to the top of the rail.
The Young Sherlock leg kit is 18 1/2” from the floor to the bottom of the rail and 21 5/8” to the top of the rail with the rolling caster. Without the casters it with be about 2” shorter.

Yes! We will be offering an upgrade kit for backers that already have our older leg kit versions. Yes! You can certainly double your gaming experience if you pledge for a Watson or Holmes and then get 2 accessory rails to attach one to each half!

[PLEDGE MANAGER] How do I add additional item to my pledge?
All you need to do is add up the options you want and add that $$$ amount to your pledge. At the end of the campaign you will get billed from Kickstarter. This money will be a credit in the Backerkit survey which will allow to select anything you pledged for, plus allow you to upgrade or add-on anything you may want. If you just pledge the pledge level you selected, you will still be able to upgrade or add anything you want in the Backerkit survey after the campaign ends.

If you are looking for an item that does not have a pledge level associated with it, you can still pledge for those items. Back on The Sovereign reward level. This will allow you to choose Add-on items available in the Kickstarter. Additionally when the Backerkit pledge manager launches after the Kickstarter you will get access to select any additional items you may want!

Yes, the Watson Dining/Gaming Cover comes with two 15” x 44” and three 12” x 44” sections (44” x 66” total). The two end sections covers the Hudson 30” game vault (30” x 38”) but not quite edge to edge on the two ends because of the math! You can add two of the 12” sections to cover the half Watson with a 24” XL leaf.

You can add one 12” section to cover the Adler, or two 12” sections to cover half Holmes with the 24” XL leaf making the 3’ x 5’ play area.

What is BackerKit?
BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!

How does BackerKit work?
After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.
I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.
How do I update my shipping address?
BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.
When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?
That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.
