Welcome to the first update of 2026! We hope you all had a great Holiday season!
Thank you for your patience as we waited for some additional details so as to get you all the most accurate information as possible.
The last several months have been super busy, packed with preparations for fulfillment, including a container load of mats and storage bags that arrived just after Christmas! That shipment included the all new Arzium and Underwater Worlds mats from this campaign as well as restocks for many styles in preparation for fulfillment. They look Fantastic!!! If you are a Ryan Laukat fan you are definitely going to love this mat for his Arzium world. I can't wait to get Aquatica on the new underwater mat!! I keep finding cool stuff!

On To Fulfillment Timelines:
We began fulfilling some pledges in December before the holidays way a head of schedule for some instock items, and now in February with products arriving we are beginning the next group of US orders.(If you are a part of this group, you would have gotten an address verification over the last weekend.)
Once this group is complete, we will be about 25%-30% of the way done with the entire fulfillment of the campaign!
There have been a couple minor delays in some of our products arriving due to Christmas shipping congestion at ports and aluminum productions delays due to the holidays.
That being said, it is only slightly putting us behind. The remaining US pledges as well as the Canadian shipment will all start shipping/packaging in March instead of February as previously planned. We have two more container shipments that are both currently on the water, the first is due to arrive in the next 2-3 weeks, while the second which contains our new Leg Kit parts, is due to arrive sometime in the first couple weeks of March. Lastly, our order of aluminum for many of the Toppers of this campaign is also due to arrive to our warehouse about that same timeframe of the 1-2 week of March. We will be busy!!!
The moment those shipments have arrived we are free to begin fulfillment with no restrictions on what can be shipped! We will have some packaging, specifically for the aluminum that will need to happen, but we otherwise will be spending the majority of the time between now and then in pre-packing sub-set of orders and preparing all the materials for packing the aluminum once it does arrive. We are doing our very best to minimize the impact this delay has on our overall fulfillment timeline. We had always planned to begin fulfillment for the US & Canada in February and have that process continue on to finish in March. We had hoped to be about 50% done in February, but with the reduction in what we can do this month we expect fulfillment to go through March into early April as well.
This will continue right into the international fulfillment for the UK & EU backers which still is planned for June. In order for that to happen, we will need to have everything packaged up and ready to leave our warehouse in April. From there the pre-packaged pledges will ship out to warehouses in the UK & EU for final delivery to your door!
To summarize, here is the expected fulfillment timeline as it stands with all the information we have currently:

February
Finish fulfillment up to the 25% mark with products currently on hand.
March 16th-31st
Finish packaging for recently arrived products.
Pre-package all Canadian pledges for shipment to Canadian warehouse
Begin final shipment of all remaining US pledges
April 1st-17th
Canadian pledges arrive in Canada and begin to ship out to backers. We hope all deliveries would be complete before the end of April.
During this 2 week window the majority of US pledges should complete and ship out. Shipments will be going out daily until completion.
April 20th-30th
EU & UK Pledges are all packaged and depart for their respective warehouses.

Fulfillment Update:
Hello Game Topper Nation!
Just a short update here. If you don't want to read past this, the summary is everything is still on track for Fulfillment to begin for the US and Canada in February 2026 with UK and EU fulfillment in June 2026!
For more details. We have been busy placing orders with all our various suppliers. All of the overseas products have been ordered already, one container of products including all of our new game mats and restocks for existing styles has already been shipped and is expected to arrive right between Christmas/New Years. The remaining shipments should be arriving early-mid February for fulfillment.
We are in the middle of placing orders with our remaining US suppliers whose productions times have us receiving those products right around the middle of January to the beginning of February.

There is a very small number of US pledges that we will shortly have everything in stock for. Those pledges we are looking to start shipping out in the weeks leading up to Christmas! If you are part of this segment, you will receive an address confirmation email within the next couple of days.
For the majority of you, it will not be the case. Please refrain from sending emails just to ask if you are part of this segment of Backers; if you did not receive an address confirmation email from Backerkit over the next few days then your pledge will be fulfilled per our scheduled fulfillment timelines listed above.

Super excited that all the remaining surveys have gone out from Backerkit for those that used the pledge over time feature.

You can now add on all those wonderful options that you have been excited about. Please fill out your surveys ASAP as we are trying to get numbers of how many new Easels and dice cups need to be ordered.We have 2 type of wood varieties and 3 styles to choose from.
I wanted to make you aware of something else Game Toppers is participating in. Many of you know about our world class, high quality premium game mats and how we have partnered in the past with major companies like Arcane Wonders with our Roman mat, and recently with Inside Up Games with our Nature mat.
Currently, on Gamefound, you can see the all New Andromeda's Edge mat we are doing for their Genesis campaign. I have to say I love all our mats like they are my children, but this one is special! Peter Vaughn & the team at Cardboard Alchemy has an amazing team of talented designers and artists! You can get it in 3 sizes on their campaign.

Game Toppers 5.0 Pledge Survey Update 9-10-25

Hello Game Topper Nation!
We are back with a brief update as to the status of the post-campaign process as well as some additional useful information. Currently 61% of the pledge surveys have been completed and we are waiting on the remaining surveys to be completed.
If you were a Late Pledge backer (one who backed post campaign directly through Backerkit) you can disregard the following information as you will have already completed your pledge survey when you created the Late Pledge.
Pledge Over Time Backers:
A large percentage of the remaining surveys to be filled out are from the Pledge Over Time Backers. Tomorrow the final payment for those backers should be collected by Kickstarter. Once that has happened it can take a day or two for Kickstarter to send all that information on the payment completions to Backerkit, after which the pledge surveys will be sent out to those backers.
Once you receive your survey, please fill it out as quickly as possible. We are already in the production process, ordering materials and preparing for fulfillment, but having the final numbers is very important for us to keep that process moving and keep on our fulfillment schedule.
We are hoping to lock all surveys and process any outstanding charges by the end of the month. As such, please complete your survey by Friday, September 26th.
Lost Survey Recovery:
If you are NOT a Pledge Over Time backer and you have not yet received your survey you can try and locate it using this link. You will need to enter the same email address as used for your Kickstarter account that made the pledge:
Apple ID Backers through Kickstarter:
If you used Apple ID on the Kickstarter app, but haven't completely set up their Apple Pay account (linking their email address to their Apple Wallet) will have issues receiving their emails from BackerKit. You likely have not received your Kickstarter survey either. This is because the Apple ID creates a relay email address and information from the Kickstarter is sent to that email and from there to you. Essentially the only email address Kickstarter has is that relay email. When Kickstarter gives that relay email to BackerKit and BackerKit tries to send you emails for the pledge survey Apple does not recognize that email as coming from an authorized sender (because Kickstarter is the authorized sender), so the emails never make it to you.
If this is the case, please email us at [email protected] with the name on the pledge, the pledge number, and what email address you would like the survey sent too and we can update that in BackerKit for you.
Fulfillment Timeline Update:
Currently we are in the process of ordering and preparing for fulfillment, restocking products that we do not have enough inventory on hand for the fulfillment, as finishing up a few development details on the new products (proofing, designing packaging, preparing instruction videos, etc.). Once we complete the ordering process for the new products, we just need to wait for production and shipping timelines and then we are ready to begin the fulfillment process.
We believe we are still on track to meet the fulfillment timelines we listed during the campaign, that being Wave 1 US & Canada fulfillment in February of 2026 and then the EU, UK & other wave 2 pledges in June of 2026.
There is a chance we will possibly be able to fulfill some US pledges still in 2025 if we have the items currently on hand, but this is a complicated equation and not likely to effect that many backers. If you receive an email saying your pledge is about to ship and asking for you to verify your shipping address, that is the most likely sign that you are one of those few pledges that we can fulfill ahead of schedule. We'd much rather under-promise and over-deliver, so this is not a guarantee that this will be a common situation. Please refrain from emailing just to ask if your pledge could possibly be one of these. It takes away time that we can instead be using to move forward with the very large number of tasks at hand to prep for the fulfillment!

Things may be fairly quiet over the next few months as this process moves along, but we will drop some brief updates here and there just to keep you apprised of the current status of the incoming products.

Game Toppers 5.0 Pledge Surveys are live!

Josiah here. We have launched the pledge surveys this morning (I was on a delayed flight and missed my connection and so was not back in the office yesterday).

One important note for Pay Over Time backers from the Kickstarter campaign. BackerKit does NOT send out surveys until all payments have been made through Kickstarter. This is the first time we have used this payment method, so we were not quite aware of how the interaction was handled. We apologize for any confusion on that front! Once the final payment has been made within a day or two you should receive your Backerkit survey and be able to make all of your selections in the pledge manager. You will not miss out on anything. All of the options will still be available to you as well as the stretch goals unlocked.
